Just been reading this
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/c997y4l20jgo
POT 1 teams:
Mexico, USA, Canada (hosts), Argentina, Belgium, Brazil,
England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain
POT 2 teams: Austria, Australia, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Iran, Japan, Morocco, Senegal, South Korea, Switzerland and Uruguay
POT 3 teams: Algeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast (Cote D'Ivoire), Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia,
Scotland, South Africa, Tunisia, and Uzbekistan
POT 4 teams: Cabo Verde, Curacao, Ghana, Haiti, Jordan, New Zealand, 4 UEFA playoff winners, and 2 inter-continental playoff winners.
----------------------------------
I'm not entirely sure how it all works but I think the gist is: no two countries from the same confederation in pots 1-3 can face each other (ie. England vs Scotland) but maybe I'm wrong
Mentioned to some friends that I fancied testing my psychic powers and... I think...
England: Senegal, Panama, and one of the UEFA playoff winners (for fun I shall say... Turkey).
Scotland: Mexico, Ecuador, and Jordan.
Here's a simulator site if you want to leave it up to chance:
