They really need to put new adverts out even if its just tweaking the campaign they've used for years. Something like "10 days until its all change" could be in the countdown adverts or "Big Brother is changing, its back, June 5th" at the end of the standard Channel 4 advert. Just something really basic like that could have a big impact. I noticed an advert on The Hits this morning. I know its a Channel 4 channel but hopefully its a sign to come that they will start cross promoting which they need to do. Billboards would also be a good move. Whilst on the subject of advertising, if they had any sense they would capitalise on next weeks Britains Got Talent. Obviously regulations state they can't say when its starting but a loophole could be airing the standard promo then in the next ad break airing a countdown ad, then in the next one a house ad etc.

I believe that people will tune into it just because it is Big Brother but I doubt very much that they will break the 6m barrier on launch night but it could come quite near but if they currently go the way they are with advertising and don't up their game fast then they can't expect big figures. Big Brother starts in just over a week and nowhere near enough has been done.
