i think a battle series would be ok for one series, but if they did it for 4 years, i think they would lose a LOT of viewers, they format would get very boring. Personally, i'd hate to see a couples version, i can't think of anything worse. battle of domination, is almost normal BB, and battle of the sexes would not be good. I like the Battle of the Ages though, i think that would work well, but more than 12 housemates, make it 8 of each, and make the age difference bigger. say, under 25 vs over 40... or 35? but under 30 and over 31, makes them too close, you could have a 29 year old and a 31 year old, the gap would just be too small...
