The Diary Room
According to someone who went to the BB Launch Night Project the Diary Room and the Entrance/Exit share a door:

The house is back to a BB7 style entrance, the main double doors are smaller than previous and when you go in it’s like a large white atrium sort of area with a curved grand staircase going down each side and the diary room in the centre before the main door into the house. It’s hard to describe but looked lovely.

The Orange Door
In this weeks TV Mag, in reference to BB9 it says:

Each room has a unique look, and there's a new hot tub and pool - but that doesn't mean the housemates can look forward to lazy days in the sun!

I reckon that the hot tub is through that orange door in the garden. There's also a pane of glass beside the door. Perhaps so that housemates on the poor side have to watch them enjoying the hot tub.
And finally, clearing up suspicion the housemates were appearing on GMTV when they were arriving at the GMTV studios, they were actually there for the BB Launch Night Project. Here is the video of them arriving to GMTV:
