Default Why Big Brother was wrong to put all housemates up this week

There are probably many reasons, but here are my thoughts on why Big Brother was wrong to put all housemates up for eviction this week:

1) It is too early on to really know who to vote out amongst such a dislikeable bunch. There's a split between wanting to vote out the boring people first (e.g. Vanessa, Anthony) or voting out the unpopular people first (e.g. Sam, Lesley).

2) If Vanessa tells the housemates that she has put them all up for nomination by her mistake, any other housemate can now think - "OK, I'll sabotage the nominations another week and break the rules myself."

3) Part of the interest in watching the highlights etc. is to see how the nominated people are doing and who's likely to be popular or not. Trying to watch everyone at this stage is just too much!!

4) This is the second week in a row that the traditional nominations format has been messed about with. Although this could be deliberate, to try and avoid interesting people getting evicted early on this year, it certainly didn't work with Mary!

5) This week's vote will be the most telling to the housemates about how everyone is being perceived in the outside world. Whoever goes this week is a pretty good indication of who the public is going to vote out next - perhaps we could see some housemates seriously changing their behaviours based on this!

This is the first night when I am really not bothered about watching the highlights show!
