I'd like to think the audience is a bit more aware of what's going on - and the fact that Mikey is in no way being bullied. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that's the case. Having said that, I in no way think it's his fault that the edits show him: I would say that must be because he provides a contribution to what goes on within the day. Lately, I've been seeing less of him - particularly on the live feed - so maybe the highlights are a way to compensate for that? Or, in fact, what he does do is important enough to make it into the highlights?
I quite like him in the sense that he doesn't want any special treatment at all, and doesn't try to use his blindness as an excuse for anything else. He also doesn't even refer to it is a 'disability' - it was Mario who did that. Personally I don't see anything disgusting or creepy about him - he seems pretty harmless to me. I think he tries to compensate for the fact that he's blind to be more outrageous and 'fun' (as he sees it) when he can get away with it. I'm not saying that's right, but we cannot comprehend his mentality, just the same way we cannot fully understand anyone's.
I was going to say he could continue as long as he isn't harming anybody, but what he did a few days ago clearly affected Sylvia, and he could've been more tactful. I'd put that down to the fact that he's probably not used to situations like that and therefore wasn't sure how to react. That doesn't necessarily make him stupid, or dumb: it could be related to any person who isn't used to such situations.
Finally, I really cannot see him winning at all so I don't see why people are quick to jump and attack a housemate who's only been there a few days. He doesn't do anything particularly fun (except when he does he gets carried away), he goes to bed early, and, the way I see it, he tries to distance himself from the others in order to not attract attention to himself: the complete opposite of what people seem to think he's doing.
