JURY REACHES VERDICT
The jury in the Michael Jackson child sex abuse trial has reached a verdict.
The pop star is expected to learn his fate by 21.30BST.
Jackson is thought to have left his Neverland Valley Ranch on his way to the Santa Maria court.
The jury, which listened to 14 weeks of evidence, deliberated for more than six days before sending word of a verdict at around 2030BST.
More than 1,400 journalists and hundreds of Jackson fans are at the court awaiting the jury's verdict.
The growing crowd of fans began screaming "Michael is innocent, Michael is innocent," as news of the verdict was announced.
Jackson, 46, is charged with molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor in 2003, plying him with wine and conspiring to hold the boy and his family captive.
