I think the internet is a great way to meet people, and to talk to people who like the same things you do. I'm not sure about proper relationships, but I've met some friends I know online, in person, and we have the same interests and when we met, it wasn't awkward at all and I could be myself around them. We talk online a lot and we're planning to go on a little trip in November.
