I'm going to agree with Sticks - you'll have to wait and see.
I said I thought they made a sweet couple, and I still do, and i said that I thought there was genuine affection (and I still do)
You can't compare them to Helen and Paul - it was different, and they had longer together. But I do take your point about Paul just asking if she'd go out with him for a drink.
Spencer was visibly shell shocked in that interview (but oh so funny - he still made me laugh my socks off, particularily when Jonny's nomination came on, and he was saying"He did cheat!")
I think he is just a private person - he wouldnt go into details of relationships in the house, and he doesn't know how Kate feels - I know I wouldn't say anything to the press, especially if I was unsure of the other persons thoughts.
Whether they wil get it together or not, I don't know, I think they were sweet together, but I think he likes her more than he lets on , he just didnt want to talk about it in front of millions of strangers.
All the best to him - he came across as a lovely chappie on his interview, and I'm sure his boat will have many teenage visitors over the coming months!!
I want to listen to him on Chris Moyles (Radio 1) on Monday - they have a mutual appreciation thing going, and I think they could be funny together.
He said on the radio on Friday he was going to give Spencer a big hug when he was evicted. Wonder if he got it!! ;o)
