I agree but also Alex loves the fun Jade brings to the proceedings plus the fact I am sure, that he wanted Adele to have her 'friend' with her which would please her...something he would care about now seeing as she has him well and truly hooked. Alex would not have liked having Kate with him for the week, because when she spurned him for Spencer..or so he thinks...remember he thought she fancied him in the first few weeks and has treated Kate badly ever since because she changed her mind?...he would have felt very uncomfortable and not able to be as relaxed and as silly with her there, even though they have now been speaking to each other a bit.
