I don't understand the way you think its up to others to keep Bex happy and not up to herself. Thats kind of how she thinks.
If she'd have been on the heaven side she'd have been rubbing it in worst than Rex, and you know that don't you? So given her rather dodgy personality we'd still be talking about how selfish and spiteful she is.
