I think they were picked by error, IMO this is what happened.
A group of people well qualified in managing quality entertainers was set up and viewed all applicants, and these fell into 3 groups.
1, the definate potential bin
2, the back up bin for HM's who may be replaced at any point.
3, the waste paper bin of the usual talentless fake wannabees
At the end of the day the waste paper bascket was picked up by a cleaner and just as he was about to shread the lot, a long came a producer of BB on the phone to Chanel 4 apparently nobody had forwarded any name yet at the deadline for this years BB9 series. In a rush he called out to the cleaner quick give me that basket and pick out 16 names I need them asap.
