Aww, I completely knew it was genuine.
And he's said something I had already observed. During the day they're like little monsters to each other but when the lights are out and they're in bed together they act completely differently. I think I can see why, though.
During the day, or at night while the lights are still on, the other housemates are there. Luke & Bex are entirely conscious of their presence. But when everyone's gone to bed and it's dark and they're whispering to each other out of everyone's earshot they can properly say how they feel about each other and that's what leads to them kissing. In those moments they feel safe and in their own little world. It really is the only time and place in the whole house that they feel alone together.
You have to remember, while the other housemates are aware they've kissed they haven't actually seen them kiss. They rib Luke & Bex mercilessly about their relationship, but if they were actually properly aware what they're like together in the early hours they'd realise just how incredibly sweet the whole thing is. They're actually being quite discreet about it, unlike some previous housemates.
