I agree science did go on a bit too much about living in bad areas (council estates) not 'ghetto'. But when he gets into arguments, he has a good reason for each one, it's not just because he feels like it. He is not being arrogant or bigging himself up in anyway at all. People say he's arrogant, but all he is doing is looking after himself, whether it be about food, hygiene, sharing and whatever else hes argued about. When people were failing the pirate task and ignoring him as captain, he wasn't shouting at them was he, he just let them do what they wanted. It's because he speeks his mind and is direct with people if there is any issues, he gets called ignorant. If you grow up with certain discipline, you express your point direct, and not just badmouth that person behind their back amongst friends. I am the same. I won't hate someone just if my friend is being bitchy(which they aren't at all anyway) and doesn't like them like craig does. But if someone is suposed to clean up or has stolen, or done something towards me. I will definately be shouting at them and telling them straight how I don't like what they did. Its better than letting things linger while people build up hate for eachother. Would you call that ignorant?. Also, science has always apologised to everyone he argued with too, now thats not arrogant is it?. I think he must just seem like scrooge to people that don't know people like that or haven't grown up in families like that. I have people who are strict in my family, one example is my uncle would shout at me and slap me in the face when I was 16 for throwing a chocolate sweet rapper on the floor and make a big deal of it, I hated him and other people in my family, but a few years later, it made sense, and I saw that he cared and he wasn't ignorant or arrogant. It's just our backgrounds which might be different. But the one who calls others arrogant, ignorant or whatever is the one who is arrogant themselves for trying to point it out. We don't all grow up the same, but we can learn deceny and respect, no one is perfect, so what makes you better than the next.
