They are moaning about a report after the Hillsborough disaster when the Sun was reliably informed, and thus reported, that Liverpool fans were robbing and peeing on the bodies of the dead fans.
As a fellow Liverpool supporter I wonder why they don't boycott Sky Sports as well, seeing as it is an even bigger part of the Murdoch empire? Something to do with there being lots of papers available to buy, but only one TV channel to watch Prem football on? In which case, your principles are easily compromised, aren't they? Don't mean to sound harsh but I really find this whole thing a bit perplexing. The only winner out of it as far as I can see is the Daily Mirror, which has been doing a roaring trade on Merseyside ever since (but still lags way behind The Sun nationally). Time to move on, is my personal conclusion, but each to their own.
