I don't think she can compare her own lack of luck with men/or supposed bad life (whatever that may be) with the issues Darnell has to contend with every second of his life. Can a girl with her looks, and with such an outgoing personality possibly ever understand what it is like to be stared at like a freak show, frightening small children and have people physically recoil from you ever time you leave the house? And to have people make close friendships with you only to back off every time it reaches a stage where (if he were not albino with strange physical tics) it would progress into a love/sex thing? I agree darnell should not wallow as much as he does but I don't think it's Sara's place to tell him! WTF does she know about it???? How dare she come on to him so strong then play Miss Innocent and Hard Done By, when he feels hurt and angry at being rejected? What did she expect? She says she's his friend by she clearly doesn't have much empathy for him or understand him very well at all. Fine friend.
