I really like Darnell, as a person. I've gone off him a bit since the Sara thing, but I still think he's a cool guy.

It's nothing to do with whatever 'hard life' he may have had.

He basically admitted in the diary room that the Sara thing was cos he likes her, and she doesn't like him back.
