Moderators are here to make sure the board runs smooth and to check any posts don't break the forum rules. The same applies for making sure members abide by the rules.
When we appointed new moderators, it wasn't a sudden decision. We had discussed lots of potential people (it is a shame Kaz is on holiday, and I hope she is ok with our decisions
)
It wasn't a popularity contest, or who's been registered on the boards the longest. It came down who we thought we could rely on, someone friendly, and someone who could remain fairly neutral in heated discussion and take appropriate action when needed.
I hope you are happy with the new additions to the TiBB Moderating team, I'm sure they will do a great job
