Yes, I do know what I meant. It’s a standard piece of English to respond to two points made with two respective counterpoints. Ask any expert on language. Frankly, though, it’s pretty common and straightforward English.
For instance, if you said “If John invites you to his party, will you go?”, I might reply “Well, he hasn’t, so I'm not”.
If anything, for you to continue accusing me after I’ve clarified matters and edited for you out of courtesy, AND to imply that I'm a liar, now that IS a personal attack! But I won’t take it to heart!
By the way, I'm struggling to understand why, if I’d wanted to “attack” you, I’d have edited it at all!

"He hasnt done anything important"
You said:
"Yes he has, you havent"
I replied:
"Why the personal attack?"
You replied:
"It wasnt"
And you're trying to change it, I'm failing to see where your going with your point, but I'll drop it since it's going nowhere.
