Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are planning to record a duet together.
The former couple, who have never previously cut a track together, are said to be reuniting for a one-time-only duet for Spears' comeback album, due by the end of the year.
A source close to the pair is quoted as saying: "He's (Timberlake) been sent her new music, and his feedback is really positive," according to the Telegraph.
There had been plans for the pair, who split in 2002, to work together on her last album 'Blackout', but plans fell apart amid Spears' well-publicised personal problems.
This latest news is another sign of her ongoing recovery, according to the source: "She's strong again, and she wants Justin to see that. Musically she wants to blow him away."
There are rumours that super-producer Timbaland will helm the track.
