Respect for something DOESN'T mean you become IT. Should it be legislated? no way ... should people be forced to respect others? ....no!! It's should and will evolve. That councill ( being a coucil) voted on it and decide yes let's do it.... let's not eat infront of our Muslim council mates ...fine ... but to turn that into sticks's "will we all be forced to observe fasting" is amazingly stupid. ( oh and please don't respond with "oh la dee da your being ever so rude" ... I didn't start a HATE thread like this one!!.
Respecting others is PC .... forcing it on people IS ... and it's a waste of time .... changes like this ie RESPECT ... can't be forced from the top ... it has to graw and be nurtured. My advice is GET OUT OF THE HOUSE and meet some people .. and not just the same types everytime.
