Hi Gradencraft, that's the trouble re using short straws to vote someone, and maybe if they had more time to think of another way of doing it then we may have seen another result, and like you I was gutted as well...as I've come to like PJ......and I reckon Tim ought to have volunteered..poor Kate after bearing up very well in the Poor House for all those weeks, then to pick the wrong straw, as it were...but, at least she'll have some comfort for a change.
Let's hope Fate will be kind to her as I reckon she deserves it.
