I have a lovely girlfriend for almost 2 years and so far it has been great, well we had arguments (a lot) but that makes your couple stronger.
And before I met her, I used to cheat on my girlfriends a lot, I guess because I didn't love them but now I don't cheat anymore.
We plan to get a flat together in the coming year. I don't think we will get married or engaged as we don't have the same religion and between our parents, it's a bit complicated. But it's fine.
