This has got nothing to with pollution and climate change. The Optimum Population Trust are a bunch of lunatics with an agenda, their policies remind me of Hilter somewhat, and the Chinese policy of course. We're constantly fed exaggerrated BS about how climate change will destroy the Earth by so many people.
Daily Mail reader, perchance?
I don't read newspapers. I don't swing either way politically. Tree-hugger, perchance?
Not at all, I'm a conservative. I just find the claim that immigration is the main cause of our rising population to be absurd; as Nurse57 pointed out with some facts.

That, along with the skepticism regarding climate change, led me to draw comparisons between your views and those of the Daily Mail, that is all.

[Hey to Ruth btw, haven't seen you around in a while!]
And I gave facts that proved I was right, you obviously aren't educated on the subject of demographics. What I said was fact, nothing to do with my opinion on immigration. A certain amount of immigration is vital to stop the population ageing too much. Nurse told us the birth rate, which is meaningless on its own. Countries like Germany and Italy would actually have declining populations if it wasn't for immigration.

I do have skepticism about climate change, but only about its extent and consequences, I'm not saying there's no climate change at all.

Edit: Here's more evidence. Net migration has been the primary cause of population increase for the last 10 years, and that's just the migration we know about.
