I think Kemal WAS brave. four votes had already been cast for Vanessa, so he knew that it would be Vanessa that went by the time he voted. It would have been far easier for him to vote for Vanessa than Makosi, who he knew he would have to speak to in the house, and who is surely going to ask him why he voted for her (who wouldn't)?

Also, Kemal's feelings towards makosi this week have been easy to see. He is very unsure of her and doesn't know if he can trust her. I think that whoever she was up against, he would have picked Makosi to go.
