I hug my friends sometimes when saying bye or greeting them etc., but that seems to be the norm - at least within my group of friends. Although I do know of someone who isn't comfortable with that - I'm still friends with her, but it's always seemed odd to the rest of us. We respect the fact she's not a touchy feely person though! To be fair, neither am I aside from the occasional hug.

I don't like it at all when someone is invading my personal space, but usually people can tell when they're doing so. I find it odd when people are physical with strangers. As for PDA... I'm not necessarily uncomfortable with it, but I never do it apart from the occasional quick kiss or holding hands - definitely not one of those couples who are all over each other. I don't think there's a problem with those who do it, but I don't see the need myself.
