Default The Big Divide!

Quote:
BB reject Vanessa Layton-McIntosh last night sensationally lifted the lid on RACISM in the house.

The 19-year-old—booted off the show on Friday in a surprise eviction twist—claimed there was a massive split between the housemates.

Viewers have already seen African nurse Makosi get a tongue-lashing from Saskia.

But Vanessa said WORSE rows between other housemates have been covered up by Channel 4 bosses, who we can reveal have been ordered to cut racist comments.

Jibes

"There was a divide. On one side you had lots of ethnic groups and on the other there were white people," said Vanessa.

And the business student said the vicious jibes would come to the fore during rows.

She said: "The truth would come out and people would spill their guts. Housemates would make bitchy comments and sometimes they would target your race. I'm not sure how much of that has been shown."

A Big Brother insider last night admitted producers are concerned.

The source said: "There have been a number of occasions when housemates have made racist comments to each other. Production staff have been told to make sure none of these comments gets on air."

The order follows complaints from viewers. Fans were outraged when Saskia ranted to Makosi. She said: "You lot. You've always got a chip on your shoulder."

Later, she told Makosi, who has an Afro hairstyle: "And you wear a wig on your head."

But our source claims stronger insults by others were cut from both the live feed and highlights shows.

Meanwhile, Vanessa also revealed that pal Makosi has already asked her to be godmother to her baby after her romp with Anthony in the plunge pool.

Regret
And it emerged that naughty nurse Makosi TURNED DOWN producers' offer of a morning-after pill.

Vanessa said: "Although she was offered one I don't think she took it because of her religious beliefs."

But Vanessa refused to explain why Makosi was keeping her baby fears from Geordie dancer Anthony.

She said: "There is a reason why she hasn't spoken to Anthony but I'll let her explain herself."

And bisexual Vanessa confessed she fancied Anthony too—but didn't want to offend Makosi by stealing her man.

She said: "I liked him at first but when I found out Makosi fancied him I backed off. I wouldn't want to upset her."

And she revealed that a relationship is brewing between Anthony and camp crimper Craig.

"There is some sort of chemistry there between them but who knows what will happen."

Big Brother last night denied the racism allegations.

A spokesman said: "We have not censored racist remarks. If racial tension is present in the House then it would be revealed on the live streaming and in the highlights shows."
