agreed that it totally wrong, wrong, wrong.

My OH has told me that during World War 2 very occassionally prisoners of war PRETENDED to be mentally ill on the hope of being sent back home. They where warned that if they did it they could end up being mentally ill and not returning to "normality". Unfortunately some of them did. Not the best way of trying to escape in my book.

If this very stupid task is being untaken lets hope it is not for too long.

Update - apparently it was just one prisoner, I think OH said he was in Coldiz, but yes he was never right again.
