Instead of making stupid laws, how about the government remove laws like the fact its illegal to smack children? Parents these days are far too laid back... giving their 15 year old kids money to go drink in the local park. Not giving curfews and things, yes kids will moan but parents need to get over that.
i agree with you fom i was also smacked as a child and like you have the values etc that so many dont i am trying to install the same into my daughter but when there is 5 years in the park with their parents telling people to f off its a losing battle cos so many parents just dont lay down the rules cos they think on the lines of anything for a easy life
