Carbs are good but keep the sugar down.
Good amount of fat is good to but saturates need to stay low.
and also what ive started trying is raw egg mixed with milk, take out the yolk because its full of cholesterol the rest is good for protein.
And as a normal person your body will not take in more than about 36g's of protein within the space of about an hour and a half so spilit every meal and snack up by at least that long.
If you train your body will take in more protein.
Over 11 and half stone now at 5 foot 8 ish.

Im jealous!! I met this guy who lives in Staines on holiday and he was 17 but he was huge(not fat huge), 15 stone he was. I was slightly intimidated, but he was one funny bloke.
