Default \"Now Class!! Your All Suspended!!\"

A whole class of graduating students have been suspended in Australia after taking part in a series of Muck-Up Day pranks.

Around 100 students at Xavier College, Melbourne were involved in antics, including using school ties as G-strings and setting off fireworks at a nearby railway station.

Muck-Up Day is an unofficial ritual in Australian schools that usually involves pupils misbehaving.

One witness told The Age newspaper: "Their behaviour was disgraceful. They were blind drunk and some of them could barely stand.

"My kids have been through Muck-Up Day, but I've never seen anything like that."

The school, which said that the behaviour had "contravened the boundaries of sensible behaviour", cancelled classes until the final day of term.

Police are investigating criminal charges for the incidents that took place outside of school.
