The other thread is sort of in line with the policy that brought us the obituary thread where we are supposed to put death announcements in.
Having said that, I think before that thread was made I did something similar with my Mystical Realms threads

And this is something that is ongoing, as sad as it is, people wont post ina death thread 5 years later.
