THE outraged dad of X Factor fave Laura White last night denied claims she had received special treatment because she is dating a show boss.
Her dad Adrian raged: “It’s a pack of lies. Laura went through all the proper procedures and her talent has shone through.”
It was revealed yesterday that the sexy jazz singer, 21, has been having a secret affair with Mathew Firsht, 38—who organises audiences for the hit ITV show—for several months.
It is claimed he is convinced the Bolton lass will win X Factor and has urged Laura’s family to place bets backing her.
But a defiant Adrian, 50, added: “It’s ludicrous to suggest that he told the family to bet on her. All we want is for her to win the competition fair and square.”
