Apart from Bad Lashes. I honestly don't get why Girlband got loads of sections between them and Bad Lashes had one bit shared with Austin, where Austin's voice dominates it anyway 
All that needs to be explained now is why Alex and Laura both knew to mime Ruth, and why Austin knew to mime Daniel, and the cameras knew where to go.

I figured, when the show started, Owen and Diana were on stage, so they didnt know what happened, but, the doors probbalbly got locked a bit before, so the ones that were still backstage at the time, were tol what to do!
When ALex was singing at 2:21, you can tell that Diana was Baffled! She is looking at her thinking what are you doing? Its supposed to be Ruth, then you see her looking around for Ruth. That part was quite funny I thought!
