Ive accepted that Derek does come across a bit of a snob. This is more to do with the age gap than anything else and taking on the role as Mother hen to a group of youngsters. I also acknowledge his comments towards Science were strong and inappropriate but I dont think they were meant to be seen as racist. In the past few weeks, Science has pushed Derek to the absolute limit by provoking him into making reactional statements (as youve mentioned). Lets not forget Derek was very keen to take Science under his wing and help him in the beginnning which has been thrown back in his face because of Science's appallingly bad attitude and disrespect for people. How can anyone calling themselves 'Science' to project a man of intellect resort to childish behaviour and name calling as he did by calling Derek "a ****ing prick".

And as for being "dogmatic", Ive never made statements intended to be taken for fact. They are only my opinions deduced from logical reasoning of a show that is watched religiously by millions of people. They are my views not representative of any organisation or group, and people are more than welcome to agree or disagree with them.

And to back up my points which youve clearly refuted, Ive been reading some of the text messages in support of Science flashing across the screen like: "keep Science in der house, yer get me". That is proof if any that somebody has used a well known Science phrase.
