To be honest, I cant remember a single BB series where Ive constantly changed my views on the housemates, and Ive seen them all - even BB 4  . Science had every chance to prove himself this week and demonstrate that he is an erudite man of intellect and knowledge but he failed - spectacularly.
His mad fans havent helped me deciding either.

I was like you the account of pretty much changing my views on housemates on a daily basis throughout this series and now I dislike the majority of them and I am tired of the show to be honest.
If you were truly impartial then you would not favour any housemate but it seem's clear that you do indeed favour Derek in the way that you have spoke at length about the different things about him that you like and you seem attached to him due to his political views, hobbies and class.
I don't like the way you seem to pocket all science fans in one group as mad people, some may well be but the fact remains that he has varying levels of support from a good number of people.
