Roxanne (Louise) to Leave Hollyoaks

Roxanne McKee is leaving Hollyoaks, with her character's explosive final scenes being screened this Christmas.

In December, Louise Summers (Roxanne) will prepare for her wedding to Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas).

However, Louise may take the phrase 'shotgun wedding' a little too literally as she will acquire a gun for the big day.

After discovering Warren's affair with best mate and bridesmaid Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn), Louise looks like she could commit a crime of passion.

Whether she targets Mandy, Warren or both of them remains to be seen, but fans should be left perched on the edges of their sofas as the drama unfolds.

"I have enjoyed my time at Hollyoaks immensely," explained Roxanne recently. "I have learned so much and will take away with me many happy memories - not just from everyone I have worked with but from Liverpool as a city too, which has become my second home."

She added: "I know I will shed a few tears on the day I leave but I am so excited about what the future holds."

Hollyoaks producer Bryan Kirkwood explained: "As well as being the nation's sexiest soap star for two years running, Roxanne has worked incredibly hard to prove herself as a talented actress.

"She has been at the centre of one of our biggest storylines for the past two years and her exit scenes will be a fitting climax."
