I would agree the selection of housemates, especially in BB7 and CBB5, wasn't very well thought out. If anything the producers went out to shock with outrageous housemates some of whom had extreme views or were clearly mentally unstable. But everyone makes mistakes even Radio Presenters. People sometimes take things too far. But by taking things too far they learn what the public will accept and not accept.

That's no reason to get rid of a successful format, but it is a reason for change.
