I agree with both Miriam and Charlie.

The mix of housemates this year was not good and I think that even if the bars had not gone up we wouldn't have seen much positive interaction.

However I do think that the bars coming down was a big negative event for the series and made what little positive interaction there might have been virtually impossible. I also agree that the nature of the tasks this year made for conflict not unity, the housemates have been working against each other not with each other.
