I know you don't expect me to say nice things about Alex, but I have just seen tonight's Channel 4 feed and all he can do is moan. In some respects he was worse than Tim who at least feels grateful to Jonny, Kate and Jade for ensuring he got the phone call home.

When Alex finally does say something that might have been funny, the joke is ruined by it being too near the truth, like when he suggested to Tim that the two of them are like an old married couple!

The strange thing is that Tim and Alex have cut themselves off from the rest of the group, but Jade is so unpredictable that one of them (if not both) will probably get away with it this week.

Jade for all her faults is no longer taking herself too seriously, and after her row with Jonny over the cooking, you later see the two of them lying on the loungers laughing and joking.

Let's have some fun in the last week. If Tim goes out as we all hope, then it should be a good final contest, but even though I don't want Alex to win, I really wish he would lighten up as he is putting a dark cloud over the other housemates.
