X Factor's Eoghan Quigg gets a surprise delivery from Simon Cowell

Who says Simon Cowell doesn't have a heart?

The X Factor judge sent his only remaining contestant, Eoghan Quigg, a little present yesterday - in the shape of the Premiere League cup.

Man U fan Eoghan came to the door of the X Factor flat to find two men holding a cup, red envelope and team shirt with his name on the back. No wonder he looked shocked.

Now, I'm not entirely sure what happened after Eoghan did his hands-to-face thing, opened the envelope and took the shirt. According to the rest of the pics I've seen, the men then walked away with the cup. And that was that.

I'd imagine that usually, when one is a burgeoning star like Eoghan, unexpected calls at the door can lead to many unflattering shots from the waiting paparazzi outside.

Luckily for Eoghan, his 'bed hair' is much the same as his 'stage hair'. Ie. messy and big. So no real embarrassment there, then.
