Last night, Mrs Oldgit and I stayed up and watched the live E4 feed from about 11.30 to 1.15am.

It started with Jade emerging from the toilet to find that the others had hidden, she looked in the bedrooms, the diary room etc, then when she returned to the garden where they had all been sitting, they had all got back in their chairs, and pretended to her that they had been there all along and she must have been imagining things!

Jade got upset, and ran to the bedroom, but the others persuaded her to get up again.

Out in the garden, there were the usual silly games, with all 5 housemates joining in, including another "hide from Jade" prank when she went to the toilet again later.

Eventually, Tim and Alex turned in, and the camera stayed on Tim as he and Alex began dissing the other housemates. How they found them tiresome, it was even suggested that should Alex get evicted Friday (unlikely but who knows) Tim can walk out with him. The alternative option (Tim out, Alex follows) was not mentioned.

They expressed disbelief that PJ had been evicted rather than Kate, and that the house would have been more fun if PJ had stayed as they felt he was more like them than Kate, Jonny and Jade. Is this the same PJ who joined in the silly games with the hosepipe and wants either Kate or Jonny to win?

Tim expressed disbelief at the public, saying that if the public thought he was boring, then it must be the public that was boring.

Alex has already told Tim that he doesn't know how he will survive the last week if Tim goes this Friday.

Mrs Oldgit asked me who I would vote out if it was Alex vs Tim and I said I thought we should just save our money. No way, said Mrs Oldgit, she would want Alex out, even against Tim. She can't stand either of them, but she especially hates Alex because some of the younger girls she works with think he is so gorgeous that they are oblivious to his faults, and she doesn't think he should get off so lightly. Although most have gone off him lately, there are still a few who think he is wonderful, and she doesn't like the fact that his looks enable him to get away with having a lousy personality, and constantly moaning.

So there you have it from the Oldgit household. Maybe Alex is not getting worse than Tim, maybe he is merely getting as bad!
