You should be a bit more grateful, pulling faces is something you do when your alot younger when you don't like a present.
Even if your "mates" don't get you the exact present, it is the thought that counts. And even if your sister didn't give you anything it would be nice for you to give something to her, it just shows that you put more effort in, and that you care and that its not about if you don't get one from her then she doesn't get one back/
