Default Britney has got the X-Factor

The most positive headline I have found.

Quote:
Britney has got the X-Factor
BRITNEY Spears wowed millions of X Factor viewers with her first UK performance in five years last night.

The singer, who turns 27 on Tuesday, took to the stage in the results part of last night's live show to perform her new single Womanizer.

Britney, who was dressed in black hotpants, fishnet tights and pvc knee-high boots, flew in from Paris to put on the circus-themed show.

Speaking afterwards, she said: "I love being here in London, it’s awesome."

And the star had a bit of advice for the contestants, she added: "Good luck and just keep doing it."

Britney, who did not teach a masterclass with the contestants, is said to have travelled with 45 stylists and security members.

Each contestant played homage to the star by covering a classic Britney track as well as another American classic.

Ruth, who was voted out, took on I Love Rock ’n’ Roll, Alexandra Burke sung Toxic, Eoghan Quigg performed Sometimes, Diana Vickers sung I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman and JLS performed Baby One More Time.

But not everyone was impressed with Britney's performance.

Gavin and Stacey star James Corden called the show "half ar**d" when asked what he thought of it during The Xtra Factor.

He said: "I've got the CD - I don't need to sit here and watch someone mime it. She puts on a half-ar**d performance and then leaves to play at Heaven [G.A.Y club]."

Britney left shortly after her performance to head to G.A.Y, where she was presented with a large birthday cake. But the star is said to have pulled out of performing after feeling panicky.
