X Factor - Alexandra Burke defends Britney Spears Alexandra Burke might need to get her ears tested if she wants to win the X Factor 2008.
She might want to be the next Leona Lewis but she will have to win the hit show if she wants to secure a record deal.
The 20-year-old has foolishly defended Britney Spears after her X Factor performance was slated in the press.
Angry X Factor fans thought that Britney's miming and dancing was awful and couldn't believe it when the judges said how fantastic she was afterwards.
Alexandra told the Daily Mail: "She put on a really good show...she looked amazing too."
It seems a strange comment to make considering all the negative coverage the performance has had and this could make Alexandra's fans question her honesty.
She will need all the votes she can get if her throat continues to play up.
It is rumoured that Alexandra and JLS are suffering from sore throats this week.
