I think Kate's question is the one on everyone's lips. After all he had plenty of time to see what was going on before he went into the house. Why take a place that could have gone to someone else - he should have known they weren't his cup of tea. He is so patronising - what on earth makes him think he is better than the others - cant wait for him to go.
