Gossipmonger

Eugene's resolve has finally started to crack as he begun to flex his gossip muscles in a late night bitching session with Derek. Hardly the House's natural bitch, the innocent engineer joined forces with the Tory and indulged in a natter about what kind of person makes it into the Big Brother House.

"They've looked for people who have a short attention span...who are quite jumpy," observed Eugene. "They need contestants who aren't not going to speak and who are also quite irritating and highly strung." Sounds about right.

"Then they throw in a couple of weirdoes like me," he ascertained, although we believe there is only one Eugene in the House!

"But you're a great British eccentric," interrupted Derek. "In this mediocrity it's a wonderful thing, that individuality."

Evidently spurred on to have a pop at his own back-handed compliment, Eugene let rip: "You've got all that toffee-nosed political crap about you - but you speak your mind." Go on Eugene!

"You dress toffee-nosed too, but in a cool type of way," he mused.

"Mmm," agreed Derek, putting down his nail buffer and relaxing his arms behind his head to reveal an enormous hole under his arm in his jumper.

Is that what you mean by toffy-nosed cool, Eug?
