Laura White to record duet with Adele

We have definitely not heard the last of X Factor reject Laura White.

It has been reported that the singer is to record a duet with platinum-selling artiste Adele.

Adele publicly criticised the X Factor Judges for eliminating Laura from the contest.

Laura has told the Sun that she and Adele are currently planning to pair up.

Laura said: "I was so excited when I heard what Adele had said because I am one of her biggest fans. She is incredible.

"I have spoken to her about it. She wants to do a duet and I really want to do it too, so it is just working out the timing."

There was widespread anger when Laura was eliminated from the show and thousands of viewers complained that they had been unable to vote for the singer.

More than 5,000 fans signed an online petition to have her reinstated to the show.

Adele is not the only singer to give their support to Laura, Coldplay's Chris Martin and Lily Allen and have also publicly backed the singer.

Laura said: "I think about all the people who have come out in support of me and I think I'm just little Laura - if you saw where I was from and I used to play tiny jazz bars to four people.

"When you leave The X Factor you think, `oh, is that it now for me?' and I worked so hard to get there, but there are still so many people who believe in me."
