X-Factor's Laura comes to the county The singer, whose eviction from the ITV talent show prompted outcry, will be performing at the town centre venue Chicago Rock Cafe.
There was widespread anger when Miss White was eliminated from the show, with thousands of viewers complaining they had been unable to vote for the singer.
More than 5,000 fans signed an online petition to have her reinstated to the show, and questions were even asked in Parliament.
Tickets for the performance at the Market Square venue on Wednesday, December 18, are £5, with doors opening at 7pm.
Miss White, who joins the X Factor tour next year, is also reported to be recording a duet with platinum-selling artiste Adele.
