No. CBB5 got some pretty decent ratings for a celebrity series, and that practically was the death of Big Brother.

Ratings won't come in unless there's controversy, and controversy would only threaten the gentle state that Big Brother is in now. It either needs to break the mould and take a radical approach to the series (which I highly doubt would come during a celebrity series) and see how that works OR watch its slow, painful death unfold.
But there is no way to get high ratings unless something controversial happens (and that would be bad too), the only thing that we could hope for is a major celebrity going and hope that the ratings are high, but there is NO way that CBB6 will beat BB1-BB7 and CBB1-CBB5 in ratings... i cant imagine those people that watched in the early years coming back.
There could also be good controversy though. Like BB5/CBB3 style.
BB5 as in Fight Night and having a transexual in the house?? And what was the CBB3 one??
Basically, aswell as Emma and Michelle not actually being evicted and the tasks they had to do in general. And in CBB3 having Jackie enter the house because of Brigittes status in her life and the glass window in the bathroom. Also alot of the housemates from those series were chosen just to wind people up as the producers knew they would cause controversy. (Nadia, Victor, Michelle, Emma, Kitten, John, Jackie...)
How the heck did the glass wall cause controversy? I barely remember it being mentioned.

Also Michelle was hardly controversial in her suaditon or even in the house for that matter. Entertaining yes, but bar the table incident, nothing too outrageous. She would've been nothing without Emma and Stuart.
